A note of caution before you begin customizing: Harley-Davidson motorcycles occasionally change. Be sure that you know what year and model you have before you start buying accessories or you may end up with pieces that don’t fit your bike. Also, keep in mind with used motorcycles that parts may have been changed, like handlebars and gas tanks, so you have to buy what fits the parts on the bike.
Chrome for Your Motorcycle
The most basic, and most popular, Harley-Davidson accessory is chrome. Chrome dresses up a plain factory bike, making it catch both the light and the eye of everyone it passes. Basic chrome accessories include headlight and/or spotlight visors, license plate frames and mounts, and gas caps. For those who really want to add on the chrome, there are chrome end caps for the handle grips, neck cover kits, fork covers, knob and bolt covers, and even custom covers for the tire valves. For a totally customized look that’s consistent from front to back, all of those covers and caps can be purchased in matching designs.
Motorcycle Luggage
Yes, motorcycles can be equipped with luggage. Saddle bags are the bags that hang below and behind the seat, just above the rear tire, and they can be either hard or soft sided. There are also sissy bar bags, tool bags that can be attached to either the front forks or the sissy bar, and bibs, or covers, for the tank and fenders. Whether bags are plain, solid-colored leather, covered with fringe and Conchos, or completely customized and hand-tooled leather is entirely up to the rider. Many owners try to keep their luggage to one style, but there is no shame in mixing and matching for a truly unique look.
Handlebars, Foot Pegs & Floorboards
When riding a bike, especially for the long haul, comfort is essential. That’s why many riders choose to customize where they put their hands and feet. Some riders prefer standard handlebars, but need risers to raise them up to a comfortable position. Other riders prefer fatty bars, and still others like the super-tall ape-hanger bars. At the same time, some riders prefer foot pegs, some like floorboards, and some need forward-controls so they can situate long legs comfortably. Riders can even match or coordinate their grips and pegs or floorboards to have beauty with their comfort.
Custom Paint
Paint may well be the ultimate Harley-Davidson accessory. While there is no shame in a factory paint job (after all, it’s a Harley factory paint job), custom paint offers the opportunity to show your personality and your style. Harley-Davidson offers several options for custom paint, and designs are limited to a run of 200. For a truly custom job, however, it is better to go to an individual painter who can make it exactly the way you want.
There are so many Harley-Davidson accessories that it would be virtually impossible to list them all on one page. The accessories used, and the value of any accessory, is dependent entirely on the tastes and personality of the owner, although it’s always nice to watch other people stare when your Harley-Davidson becomes a custom work of art.

Yamaha FZ 150 motorcycle
After the big news of the upcoming launch of the Yamaha YZF-R15, almost nothing else seems worth waiting for – and then you see the Yamaha FZ 150 cc motorcycle. You can see the official photo f the FZ 150 above - you know what I am talking about.
More than a decade back, I rode around on the streets f Mumbai, shit-scared, on a BMW F650 Funduro. The bike cost more than Rs 4 lakhs, and was an unqualified disaster when it came to sales. But it had a stance which reminded Mumbaikars of a stallion. Crowds gathered wherever I parked it.
The Yamaha FZ revealed for the first time at Auto Expo 2008 – they call it a prototype – reminded me of the F650 with its color scheme and upright stance. But the FZ looks more modern for sure. Yamaha says that the FZ 150 is just a prototype. Nobody in the motoring press believes them. Chances are, this 150 cc air-cooled motorcycle will make it into production towards the end of 2008.
You have basically the same engine as the YZF-R15 Yamaha on the Yamaha FZ 150, but this is more a road-and-track motorcycle than the YZF, which has racing pretensions even in the 150 cc guise.

The Suzuki Satria

Terus kesan balap kian kuat setelah batok lampu dibikin bulat alias minus lampu. Gelap dong? Nggak tuh, taunya headlamp direlokasi ke area sayap depan, ini sih terinspirasi muka depan Jupiter MX yang kental unsur sport-nya.
“Memadukan komponen bodi asli dengan bodi bikinan memang lagi mewabah,” timpal Topo Gadhoel, juragan Tauco Custom, Jagakarsa, Jakarta Selatan. Ini perlu kejelian builder agar klop memadukan ‘baju’ asli dengan ‘jubah’ karya sendiri.
Em-Plus sempet intip di bengkelnya ada Honda Supra X 125 dengan sayap depan asli tapi buritan custom. Juga ada Yamaha Vega memakai sayap Jupiter MX, bodi selebihnya dibikin ulang dari pelat besi.
Sekali lagi tampilan Yamaha Tachyon saat PRJ 2005 masih membekas di benak modifikator. Komentar mereka ini adalah contoh motor bebek yang sempurna dari tampilan dan inovasi, layak ditiru maksudnya.
“Termasuk knalpot kolong ala MotoGP (underseat muffler) bakal tetap laris diaplikasi di motor bebek, kesannya balap banget!” puji Big dari bengkelnya di Jl. Haji Mugeni, 1/35, Pisangan, Jatinegara, Jakarta Timur.
TheNew New Honda Nova Sonic 125 cc
Setelah peluncuran Honda CS1 di salah satu televisi swasta, sesuai prediksi Indobikers bahwa rasa penasaran masyarakat akan motor crossover ini sangat luar biasa, bahkan hal ini sampai menaikan traffic di Indobikers yang rata-rata kedatangan pengunjung sekitar 5.200 sehari, melonjak hingga hampir 4 kali lipatnya. Bahkan fenomena ini berlanjut hingga 3 hari berikutnya.
Antara Penasaran dan Berminat
Mungkin penasaran bisa dijadikan alasan utama mengapa banyak masyarakat yang tertarik dengan CS1. Tetapi hal ini bukan berarti motor ini tidak mampu menarik peminat. Ingat penampilan yang “nyeleneh” dan eksotis adalah kunci mujarab untuk membuat konsumen penasaran terhadap CS1. Untuk kemudian calon konsumen tersebut berminat atau tidak itu adalah urusan kedua, namun biasanya sangat sulit bagi para calon konsumen untuk tidak menaikan statusnya menjadi “konsumen” terbaru Honda CS1.
Ternyata Jurus AHM memang Ampuh!
Pengalaman memang guru yang sulit ditandingi. Meski banyak yang mempredikisi bahwa tahun 2008 merupakan tahun dimana Yamaha Motor Kencanan Indonesia mampu menyalip Astra Honda Motor sepertinya hal tersebut tidak akan terjadi. Mengingat Honda telah mengeluarkan senjata pamungkasnya yaitu CS1. Diprediksi motor Crossover ini akan mampu mengobrak-abrik pasaran motor, tidak hanya bebek tetapi juga pasar motor skutik hingga motor light cruiser. Bisa jadi motor ini akan menjadi sebuah Ikon spedamotor modern seperti halnya dinasti Rx King di tahun 80an, Astrea 90an hingga Satria FU era milenium.
