the customer service is why i keep coming back to old glory cycles: they are great! i needed to order a bunch of touring stuff for the harley, and ended up getting a sneak peek at the ness-influenced bike they would be showing at this weekend's motorcycle show in dc.

reverse trike
i saw a reverse trike on the way back home today. it was going really fast so i couldnt make a positive i.d. but it kind of looked like this one from craigslist...i have covered trikes before, but not a reverse one: not my style, but pretty bad: the engine was sourced from an aprilia rsv 1000.

ride green for earth day and beyond
Mission Motors out of San Francisco built this All Electric Motorcycle and showed it last month at the California Green Expo. It charges in two hours using a 220 volt outlet. it travels about 150 miles on one charge, and tops out at 150mph.
Introductory price is around $68,000.00

snow storm...again
i had to pick the harley up from old glory saturday: it was there for a gas tank recall and i had a back rest put on. i left the second the snow started, but by the time i was headed home with the bike, the beltway was dicey. when i got home, the driveway was so slick i had a helluva time getting the trailer back in. the busa was covered in snow.

while doing a bit of link research for my post on the beautiful black busa, i read the oklahoma highway patrol converted a seized hayabusa into a police pursuit vehicle! they liked the performance and public reaction so much, they purchased two more hayabusas! that's wild...and scary.
screamin' eagle heavy breather

a couple of weeks ago old glory installed a few add ons, including a screamin eagle heavy breather in black...i wanted chrome. they fixed it, no problem. love it!

indian motorcycles were the first american production bike. i like the look of their new retro- design line.
motorcycle crash technology
i missed the premier episode of motorcycle crash technology on the national geographic channel because i was at bike week! normally, i am not interested in motorcycle crash stuff: too many memories...but this show emphasizes the technological advancements developed to prevent injury-and ultimately death-by motorcycle. must see tv for me:next episode, this thursday.
